Yes we do!  We offer a Non-Profit Custom Screening License for a reduced rate of $100 for 1 to 150 attendees because we understand the unique challenges associated with operating a non-profit organization in Northern California.

If we purchase a Custom Screening License, would you be available to speak at our event?

If I purchase a DVD or Blu-ray, can I show it to a group?

Accepted Answer

No, unfortunately you can not because it would violate copyright laws in the state of California that impose penalties including fines up to $150,000, attorney fees, court costs and prison terms.  If you would like to show it to a group, you would need to purchase a Custom Screening License.  Sales of DVDs and Blu-rays are for personal, home use only.  As a small, independent, woman-owned business, we at Myra Buteau Films appreciate the community's help in protecting my self-funded documentaries from piracy and copyright infringement by purchasing Custom Screening Licenses.
